Do you have skills at tossing bean bags? Come out to Superior on August 22nd, 2020 at 10AM and have some fun and get the chance to win a set of custom cornhole boards and some cash.

This is our 2nd annual event benefiting our Air Rifle and Archery teams to attend nationally sanctioned tournaments and purchase needed equipment. Our teams consists of kids ranging in age from 9-19. The teams have attended many national matches and consistently rank in the top 10 in the Nation as well as holding several National and State records. The teams shoot in many different associations – 4-H, CMP, Junior Olympics, American Legion, NRA, and US Army to name some. The Sponsor sheet below has a list of some of the air rifle teams past achievements.

We are working in conjunction with Mineral County Shooting Sports Association, a 501(c)3 corporation. All sponsorships and donations are tax deductible.

Public is encouraged to come out and watch the event. We will have food and beverages for purchase. Come and Enjoy the Show!

How to Use Scoreholio

Registration form is at bottom of page.

Currently anticipating 40 teams – cash prizes are determined by # of teams with 50% of registrations to payout. 4 Rounds of seeding play with a 16 team single elimination tournament to crown the champion. Minimum 4 games. Ranking will use win / loss record and then points to determine top 16.

$50 / 2 person team – will have 10 lanes this year.

Due to the distance between boards and length of each match, we would like to keep the minimum age to 8 years of age.

We’re going to try an online app the allows the event to work smoother. This will allow teams to self report scores and will notify when and where next match is at. See above on how to setup and use Scoreholio. The tournament is setup and is available for pre-registration.

Boards will be constructed by event organizers and follow the ACA guidelines. The tournament throwing bags are also ACA, weather resistant bags.

Public is welcome free of charge. Food and Beverages available for purchase. Music played during event. Feel free to BYOB.

Anticipating the event to be complete between 5 and 6 PM.

This is a Rain or Shine Event.

Rules will follow the American Cornhole Association Rules found here and the additional match rules below.

Bag toss will determine lane choice or bag color. Closest to hole without going in is winner of bag toss. Players on same team will face each other – winner of toss will choose either which side they want (East or West) or bag color. Loser of bag toss chooses other option.

Match length of 25 minutes. At 25 minutes, remaining bags will be thrown to finish out the inning and high score will win, except in the championship matches. If, at that time, there is a tie – the tie will be broken by 1 bag toss from each team. Teams can choose their thrower and the bag will be thrown from their pitching locations they started the game with.

Games will be scored to 21, or over, and will be complete when the score of 21, or over, is reached in either the top or the bottom of the inning. Total score will be reported and used for ranking – maximum score of 25.

9.9 Sponsor – Lane Sponsor – $200 – Logos placed on single lane for the duration of the tournament. Name on all marketing materials, mentioned on Website, Social Media and during tournament play.

General Donations: If you do not wish to sponsor but still want to contribute, we will accept any and all contributions to the event or the team, and your gratitude is greatly appreciated. These kids would never get to compete without the generosity of the communities we live in. We can’t thank everyone enough.

This is a great opportunity to help these kids compete Locally, State wide, and on a National level.
