The Hellgate Junior Shooters were in Fort Benning Georgia over the weekend, competing at the 2017 US Army National Air Rifle Championship.
The Hellgate Junior Shooters team is made up of Ibby Lorentz, Jonna Warnken, Justin Thomas, Abby Wesinberger, and Abby Donald. They stayed right in the middle of the pack team wise.
Ibby made the final both days with a 3rd and 5th place final finishes and 5th overall. This was the first year with a small bore match as part of the nationals and Justin finished in 4th Place.
A great experience for our team and we will be back next year. The kids shoot in the 560 (out of 600) with Ibby in the upper 580s.
