The Mineral County 4H Shooting Sports team shot the MT State CMP Tournament over the weekend.
The Sporter team finished in 1st place with all members of the team shooting in the final 8. Howie Edison 1st Place, Bailey Milender 3rd Place, Heath Edison 5th Place, and Decker Milender 7th Place. By finishing as a team in 1st place they are qualified for the CMP Regional Tournament held in Sandy UT April 5-7. The Regional Tournament will then qualify them for the National Tournament held in Camp Perry OH in June.
Jonna Warnken, who shoots for the Hellgate Civilian Shooters Association out of Missoula, finished in 2nd place overall. The Hellgate team also finished in 1st place.
As always – some highs and lows during the shoot, but overall we achieved the outcome we desired.
